Orb Connect for iPad is a very simple connect-the-dots game. It’s ideal for a quick pick-up-and-play or for the kids to get hooked on. You play against the clock and fight against an increasingly frantic pace to keep alive for as long as possible. It gets impossibly challenging the longer you play and high scores get exponentially more difficult. The game is colorful while remaining tasteful and is tons of wholesome fun for everyone in the family.

There’s no Game Center support, but the included Open Feint platform basically lets you do the same things – leaderboards and high score. You can share your points to Facebook and Twitter as well if you like. There are multiple game modes to try out, but the premise remains the same through them and it can get a little repetitive as you perform the same actions and tasks again and again. It’s much more fun if you focus on beating your high score, and the game mechanics needs a little more variety before the app can be called addictive. A fun free game for iPad.
